Pallets and flatbeds
The Pallet (or Flatbed) is a horizontal platform characterised by a minimum height compatible with handling by pallet trucks and/or forklifts and other appropriate handling equipment, used as a support for the collection, storage, handling and transport of goods and loads.
The use of pallets allows:
Considerable time savings when transferring large quantities of goods from one place to another, from one region to another, from one state to another and, last but not least, from one continent to another
insulation of the material from the underlying substrate, reducing damage caused, for example, by a wet surface
better use of available space, especially in those companies that use special shelving, making use of the height of the industrial building
