• Contact protection: Corrosion-sensitive material must be protected immediately after processing by a suitable corrosion protection process in order to prevent the start of an irreversible oxidising process.
• Water vapour impermeability by protection with a watertight barrier.
• Tightness and impermeability to flowing water.
• Other protection against degradation agents (e.g. protection with VpCI polyethylene).
• Protection against climatic conditions.
